On the 18th of June 2012 Mangapapa Medical Centre will merge with Desmond Rd Medical Centre. This is the first step in the development of an Integrated Family Healthcare Centre

This means that the medical, nursing and reception staff will all move to Desmond Rd Medical Centre and patient care will continue from that site from 5th June.

For those who are already patients of Mangapapa Medical Centre, no change is needed. Your care will continue on - just at a different site.

There is a lot of work underway, by all involved, to ensure that the merger process is seamless. One of our priorities is to ensure that you continue to have personal care provided by a healthcare team where the individuals are all known to you.
